2 cups milk
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons yeast
1/2 cup warm water
3 eggs
5 to 6 cups flour
Melted butter
Scald milk. Remove from heat; add butter, sugar, and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in water; add to mixture. Add eggs; beat well. Add flour gradually; dough will be sticky. Let rise; stir down; let rise and roll on floured board 1/2-inch thick. Cut with round cutter; dip one side in butter. Fold over (butter inside) and place on baking pan. Let rise and bake at 400°F for 15 to 20 minutes.
