Cinnamon Rolls

Serves: 12

   1 cup milk
   1/3 cup butter or margarine
   1/3 cup sugar
   1/2 teaspoon salt
   2 1/2 cups flour
   1 package dry yeast
   3 eggs
   3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
   1/4 cup flour
   1 tablespoon cinnamon
   1/2 cup butter or margarine
   1/2 cup raisins (golden preferred)
   1/2 cup pecans, chopped
   Sugar glaze


Heat milk, butter, sugar, and salt until barely warm and butter is almost melted. Meanwhile, mix flour and dry yeast in large bowl. Add milk mixture; also add eggs; beat with electric mixer until smooth; add more flour until soft dough is formed; knead, cover and let rise. Punch down; roll out and spread with mixture of brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and butter. Sprinkle with raisins and pecans. Roll like jelly roll; slice; let rise and Bake at 375°F for 25-30 minutes. Cool slightly then drizzle with Sugar Glaze.
