6 baking apples
1/3 cup light cream
1/3 cup dark corn syrup
1/3 cup chopped nuts
1 cup light cream
1/3 cup dark corn syrup
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Wash and core apples and place into buttered baking dish. Combine cream, corn syrup, and nuts; fill centers of apples. Bake at 350°F until tender. Mix together cream, corn syrup, butter, and vanilla; cook over low heat until thickened. Pour over baked apples when serving.
