Mix milk, sugar and salt together in a large saucepan over low heat. Heat to boiling, then cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add marshmallows, chocolate chips, vanilla and walnuts. Stir for one to 2 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Pour into a greased 8" x 8" baking pan chill until firm.
