Orange Sauce |

Fast & Low-Fat
Prep: 10 min; Cook: 15 min; 2 1/3 cups sauce
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/4 cups orange juice
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 tablespoon butter or stick margarine
1 teaspoon grated orange peel
1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1. Mix sugar, cornstarch, flour and salt in 1 1/2 quart saucepan. Gradually stir in orange juice, water and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and boils. Boil and stir 3 minutes; remove from heat.
2. Stir in remaining ingredients. Serve warm. Store covered in refrigerator.
*Spreads with at least 65% vegetable oil can be substituted.
