3 1/4 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 packages active dry yeast
1 cup milk
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup margarine or butter
2 eggs
1. In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast; mix well.
2. In small saucepan, heat milk, water and margarine until very warm (120 to 130°F.). Add warm liquid and eggs to flour mixture; blend at low speed until moistened. Beat 3 minutes at medium speed.
3. By hand, stir in 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 cups flour to make a stiff dough. Cover tightly; refrigerate overnight. Shape as directed in the following 3 recipes.
