1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 melted butter or margarine
1 Special Pie Crust
6 cups apples, peeled and sliced
1/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
In 9-inch pie pan combine pecans, brown sugar, and butter; spread evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare pie crust and place bottom crust over mixture. In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg; spoon into crust. Top with top crust; flute edges. Cut slits in top crust. Bake at 375°F for 40 to 50 minutes. Cool and invert on serving plate.
