Old-Fashioned Apple Pie |

Serves: 8 Print this Recipe6 cups peeled, sliced, tart apples 3/4 cup sugar 2 tablespoons flour 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg or cinnamon 1 1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine 1 Special Pie Crust Beaten egg yolk Mix apples, sugar, flour, nutmeg, and butter together. Place ingredients in unbaked pie shell. Put on top crust and brush with beaten egg yolk. Bake at 425°F for 40 to 50 minutes in lowest part of oven. This recipe comes from the Cook'n collection.
