Steamed Carrot Pudding

Serves: 10

Print this Recipe


   1/2 cup butter or margarine
   3/4 cup sugar
   2 eggs
   1 cup grated, raw carrots
   1 cup chopped nuts
   1 cup raisins
   1 cup dates
   1 cup flour
   1 teaspoon baking soda
   1 teaspoon cinnamon
   1 teaspoon nutmeg
   1/2 teaspoon cloves
   1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs
   Recipe: Sweet Spicy Sauce


Cream butter and sugar together. Add remaining ingredients; mix thoroughly. Put into greased 1-1/2 quart mold. Steam for 3 hours. Serve with Sweet Spicy Sauce.
