Combine cucumbers, onions and salt set aside for 4 hours. Add vinegar and sugar to a heavy saucepan heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Drain cucumbers add to vinegar mixture. Spoon into a freezer-safe container with a lid freeze. Remove from freezer to partially thaw before serving.
