Prepare broccoli according to package directions drain well and set aside. Melt 1/2 cup butter toss with cereal and set aside. Stir cream cheese and remaining butter together in a small saucepan over low heat until melted remove from heat and set aside. Layer half the broccoli in an ungreased 2-quart casserole dish spread half the cream cheese mixture on top. Arrange 6 slices of cheese on top sprinkle with half the cereal mixture. Repeat layers one time bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for one hour.
