In a medium saucepan, cook carrots in salted water about 12 minutes drain. Stir in cheese, butter and onion. Place mixture into a 2-quart baking dish coated with non-stick vegetable spray top with potato chips. Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
