Marcia's Chicken

Ingredients

1 package onion soup mix dried
1 cup apricot preserves
1 cup thousand island salad dressing creamy
2 broiler-fryer chicken 3- to 3 1/2 -pound, cut up

Directions:

Heat oven to 350° F. Combine soup mix, preserves, and salad dressing. Put chicken in shallow greased baking pan, skin side up. Brush sauce over top and bake uncovered, for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until done.

Note: This recipe can easily be cut in half. You can use just the pieces of chicken you prefer instead of whole chickens cut up.
