Pepperoni Pizza-Hamburger Pie

Ingredients

1 pound lean ground beef
1/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup sliced mushrooms
1 small green bell peppers
1/3 cup chopped pepperoni (2 ounces)
1/4 cup sliced ripe olives
1 cup spaghetti sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)

Directions:

1. Heat oven to 400°.
2. Mix beef, bread crumbs, egg, oregano and salt press evenly against bottom and side of ungreased pie plate, 9 x 1 1/4 inches.
3. Sprinkle mushrooms, bell pepper, pepperoni and olives into meat-lined plate. Pour spaghetti sauce over toppings.
4. Bake uncovered 25 minutes or until beef is no longer pink in center and juice is clear carefully drain. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until cheese is light brown. Let pie stand 5 minutes before cutting.
