Baked Spareribs with Spicy Barbecue Sauce |

Since you don't need a grill, these ribs are great to make in the winter when you want the flavor of summer in your dinner. 4 1/2 pounds rack fresh pork loin back ribs, cut into serving pieces
Spicy Barbecue Sauce (below)
SPICY BARBECUE SAUCE
1/3 cup margarine or butter
2 tablespoons vinegar
2 tablespoons water
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon pepper
Dash of ground red pepper

1. Place pork ribs, meaty sides up, on rack in shallow roasting pan. Roast uncovered in 325° oven 1 1/2 hours.
2. Brush with Spicy Barbecue Sauce. Roast, turning and brushing frequently with sauce, until done, about 45 minutes longer. Serve with remaining sauce
For Spicy Barbecue Sauce
Heat all ingredients, stirring frequently, until margarine is melted.
