Ham and Cheese Crescent Snacks |

Bake-Off® Contest 26, 1975
Take a whack at snack attacks with this ham and cheese treat. On-hand ingredients are ready to bake into an effortless appetizer that you can make whenever the urge strikes.
1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent rolls
2 tablespoons margarine or butter, softened
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 cup cubed cooked ham
1/3 cup chopped onions
1/3 cup chopped green bell peppers
1 cup (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese or American cheese
Heat oven to 375°F. Unroll dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press or roll dough into a 13 x 9-inch rectangle, sealing perforations. Pinch edges to form rim.
In small bowl, combine margarine and mustard; mix well. Spread mixture over crust. Sprinkle ham, onion, bell pepper and cheese over mixture.*
Bake at 375°F. for 18 to 25 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cut into pieces; serve warm. Store in refrigerator.
*TIP: At this point, recipe can be covered with plastic wrap and refrigerated for up to 2 hours. Bake as directed above.
