Polynesian Hamburgers

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds ground beef
3/4 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup bread crumbs
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 teaspoon salt
1 (13-ounce) can pineapple chunk, reserve juice
1 cup water and reserved pineapple juice
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cider vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 green pepper, chopped

Directions:

Mix ground beef, milk, bread crumbs, onions, and salt together brown in skillet pour off fat. Drain pineapple chunks, reserve juice set aside pineapple chunks. Add water and juice, cornstarch, vinegar, sugar, and soy sauce cool until thickened. Add pineapple chunks and green pepper. Pour over hamburger and simmer 15 minutes.
