2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 (5-ounce) can bean sprouts, drained
1 (5-ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and chopped
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
2 tablespoons soy sauce
8 hamburger buns
Mix together ground beef and salt; shape into thin patties. Mix together bean sprouts, water chestnuts, onions, and soy sauce; place mixture on top of half the patties. Place remaining patties on top and seal edges. Broil 3-inches from heat; then turn and broil other side until done. Serve on toasted hamburger buns
