Lima Beans With Tomato Sauce


Serves: 4

Ingredients

2 cups lima beans
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
4 cups water
1 cup onion, chopped
1 cup green pepper, chopped
1 can tomato sauce
water as needed to keep covered
sliced ripe olives
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Directions:

Boil lima beans and salt in water for about 2 minutes then let stand one hour. Add onion, green pepper, tomato sauce, and water as needed simmer until beans are tender. Put into baking dish add olives and parmesan cheese. Bake at 375°F until bubbly hot.
