1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup whipped cream
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup butter melted and cooled
1/2 teaspoon cardamon ground cardamom
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup buttermilk

In a small bowl, stir flour and baking soda; set aside.
In a small mixer bowl at medium speed, beat cream until stiff peaks form; set aside.
In a large mixer bowl at high speed, beat eggs until light and fluffy. Beat in sugar, butter, cardamom and vanilla. At low speed, beat in whipped cream. Beat in flour mixture in three additions alternately with buttermilk, starting and ending with flour mixture.
Bake in a krumkaka iron according to manufacturer's directions.
