1/2 cup butter or margarine
2 ounces unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 cup walnuts chopped
Powdered sugar
Preheat oven to 375°.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt butter or margarine and chocolate. Stir and set aside to cool for 5 minutes.
Stir in sugar, egg, vanilla and salt until blended. Stir in flour and nuts. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until set. While warm, roll in powdered sugar. Cool on wire racks. Roll in powdered sugar again. Store in an airtight container.
