Virl's Lime Salad |

Serves: 16 Print this Recipe1 (6-ounce) package lime jello 2 cups very hot water 1 cup miniature marshmallows 1 carton cottage cheese 1 3/4 to 2 cups reserved fruit juices 1 can pineapple chunks, reserve drained juice 2 cans mandarin oranges, reserve drained juice 1 can pears, reserve drained juice 4 bananas, sliced 6 maraschino cherries, chopped, reserve drained juice 1 cup whipping cream 2 tablespoons sugar Lettuce leaves Dissolve lime gelatin in hot water. Add marshmallows and cottage cheese; stir until partly dissolved. Add fruit juices. Drain and add pineapple, oranges, pears, bananas, and cherries. Chill until almost set.
