1 2-ounce package almonds slivered (about 1/2 cup)
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 9-ounce package frozen french style green beans
2 cups turkeys cubed or shredded cooked
1 10 1/2-ounce can cream of celery soup condensed
1 8-ounce can water chestnuts sliced, drained
1 tablespoon soy sauce
White rice Hot cooked
* Cooking Time: 17 to 19 minutes Power: 100% (700 watts) 50% (350 watts) Standing Time: 10 minutes In a 3-quart microwavable dish, place almonds and butter. Microwave, uncovered, at 100% power (700 watts) for 4 minutes or until almonds are lightly toasted, stirring every minute. Remove almonds with a slotted spoon and set aside.
Place green beans in dish with butter. Cover with a glass lid or plastic wrap, turning one edge back. Microwave at 100% power for 3 minutes.
Break up beans with a spoon. Stir in turkey, soup and water chestnuts. Re-cover and vent. Microwave at 50% power (350 watts) for 10 to 12 minutes or until bubbly around edges and heated through, stirring after 5 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce. Cover and let stand for 10 minutes.
To serve, sprinkle with almonds and serve over rice.
