1 pound beef cubed steaks
8 tablespoons tomato sauce
1 teaspoon italian seasoning dried crushed
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 4-ounce can mushrooms sliced, drained
2 tablespoons green bell peppers finely chopped
1 tablespoon green onions thinly sliced
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
1 1/2 tablespoons parmesan cheese grated
* Cooking Time: 14 to 16 minutes Power: 100% (700 watts) Standing Time: 5 minutes Cut steaks into four equal serving-size pieces. Arrange in a single layer in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch microwavable dish. Brush each steak with 1 tablespoon of the tomato sauce. Sprinkle with Italian herbs, garlic salt and pepper. Top each with mushrooms, then green pepper, green onion and 1 tablespoon tomato sauce. Cover with waxed paper.
Microwave at 100% power (700 watts) for 14 to 16 minutes or until meat is very tender and no longer pink, rotating dish one-fourth turn after 5 minutes and basting with sauce. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, then Parmesan cheese. Cover with waxed paper and let stand for 5 minutes.
