There really is a way to have home-baked apple crisp in less than 15 minutes. The secret is your microwave! Try topping the crisp with cinnamon ice cream for a sensational taste treat.


   _ 1/2 cups sliced tart apples
   _ tablespoons all-purpose flour
   _ tablespoons quick-cooking oats
   _ tablespoons packed brown sugar
   _ tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
   ___ teaspoon ground cinnamon
   ___ teaspoon ground nutmeg
   Vanilla or cinnamon ice cream, if desired


1. Spread apple slices in 24-ounce casserole. Mix remaining ingredients until crumbly; sprinkle over apple slices.
2. Microwave uncovered on High (100%) until apples are tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla or cinnamon ice cream.
