6 beef bouillon cubes
5 cups boiling water
2 large onions, chopped
4 ribs celery, chopped
4 carrots, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 bay leaf
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 pound ground beef
1 (10-ounce) package frozen green peas
Dissolve beef bouillon cubes in boiling water. Add onions, celery, carrots, garlic, bay leaf, salt, and pepper; simmer until vegetables are tender. Meanwhile, cook ground beef slightly and add frozen peas. Add to meat mixture to soup mixture; heat thoroughly.
