Ranch Dressing

Ingredients

1 small clove garlic, minced
pinch salt
1/3 cup low-fat (1%) buttermilk
1/4 cup lite mayonnaise
1 teaspoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons snipped fresh chives
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

Directions:

1. In a mortar and pestle (or a small bowl with a small spoon), mash the garlic and salt together to a paste.

2. In a small jar with a tight-fitting lid, add the buttermilk, mayonnaise, lime juice, chives, parsley, and the mashed garlic shake well to blend. Refrigerate at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to blend.
