1 15-ounce can refried beans with sausage
1/3 cup beer or water
1/2 16-ounce bag tortilla chips
6 ounces cheddar cheese or Monterey Jack cheese or a combination, shre
1/3 cup taco sauce
1/4 cup green onions sliced
1/4 cup olives sliced, drained
1/2 cup sour cream
Preheat oven to 350°.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, stir beans and beer or water until blended and very hot.
Spread chips in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Spoon hot beans over top. Layer in order, cheese, taco sauce, green onions and top with olives.
Bake for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Spoon dollops of sour cream over top. Serve immediately.
