SUCCESS TIP: We found from our testing that the same amount of yeast is needed for both the 1 ½-pound and 2-pound loaves.
SUCCESS TIP: Because you will add the chocolate chips with all the other ingredients, they will break up during kneading and will melt during baking, so you will have a chocolate bread, not a chocolate chip bread.
TRY THIS: Mint-chocolate chips or milk chocolate chips will give you a different flavor of chocolate bread. Not in the mood for chocolate? Try the same amount of butterscotch-flavored chips.
