SUCCESS TIP: We don't recommend this recipe for bread machines that have cast-aluminum pans in a horizontal-loaf shape because our results after several tests were unsatisfactory.
SANDWICH BOARD: Friends dropping in later and you want a loaf of fresh homemade bread to serve? This is a great recipe to make since most of us have Cheddar cheese in the refrigerator and instant onion on the shelf to pop into the bread machine. Serve with slices of ham, a variety of mustards and a platter of fresh fruits for a tasty, welcoming lunch.
