1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup butter
3 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts
Combine sugar and butter; bring to a boil and stir constantly. Boil 1 minute and remove from heat. Combine eggs, vanilla, and salt; blend 30 seconds. Add brown sugar mixture and blend at high speed 1 minute; cool. Whip heavy cream until stiff and fold into mixture. Add chocolate drops and walnuts. Pour into foil-lined loaf pan and freeze until firm.
