1 1/2 cups pure maple syrup
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups heavy cream
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Heat maple syrup but do not boil. Beat eggs; add slowly to syrup, while beating; cool. Whip and add heavy cream. Add salt, vanilla, and walnuts. Freeze.
