1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 egg yolk beaten
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
Mix together milk, sugar, egg yolks and butter in heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil; cool slowly over low heat, about 10 to 12 minutes. Add vanilla, coconut and nuts. Cool and stir until thick enough to spread.
