1/2 cup cake flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 squares unsweetened baking chocolate
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 teaspoon soda
3 tablespoons water
Sift cake flour, baking soda, and salt together. Beat eggs until thick; add sugar and vanilla. Melt chocolate over hot water. Add sugar, soda and water to chocolate; add to batter. Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375176F for 15 minutes. Turn onto damp towel and roll as jelly roll. Fill with ice cream and frost with Chocolate Peppermint Icing.
