Any Old Fruit Cake

Ingredients

1 quart canned fruit (peaches, pears, applesauce, etc.)
2 cups sugar
1 cup oil
3 eggs
5 cups flour
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup raisins
water to cover raisins

Directions:

Put canned fruit into blender. Pour into bowl and add sugar, oil, eggs, flour, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and baking soda. Mix well and add nuts. Cover raisins with water and bring to boil until water is gone add to mix. Bake at 350°F for 40-45 minutes.

VARIATION: This cake is good if you add 3 to 4 tablespoons cocoa.
