Ingredients

1 cup butter-flavored shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar , packed
2 eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons baking cocoa
2 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup , chopped pecans
1 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate chunks

Directions:

Cream shortening and sugars blend in eggs, milk and vanilla. In another mixing bowl, combine the dry ingredients add to creamed mixture, blending well. Fold in pecans and chocolate chunks. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Cool on wire racks.
