3/4 cup mayonnaise commercial or Basic (see above)
3 tablespoons green onions chopped
4 anchovies fillets, minced
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons tarragon dried, crushed
1/2 teaspoon sugar
Few drops of hot pepper sauce
In a small bowl, stir together all ingredients until well blended. Cover and chill. Serve on romaine, escarole or mixed greens.
