2 tablespoons flour
1 tablespoon sugar
1 cup pineapple juice
1 egg beaten
2 tablespoons butter real, cut into bits
Blend flour and sugar in a small saucepan; add juice and cook, stirring, until thickened. Add 1/3 cup hot mixture to egg, stir; return to saucepan and continue to cook 2 to 3 minutes until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in bits of butter. Cool. Cover and chill.
