Barbecued Frankfurters


Serves: 4

Ingredients

2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
2/3 cup ketchup
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup onion minced
1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
1 pound hot dog or frankfurters
4 hot dog buns

Directions:

In heavy saucepan, combine vinegar, sugar, catsup, water, onion, and dry mustard. Simmer for five minutes. Add frankfurters to sauce heat to boiling. Lower heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes or until frankfurters are heated through. Serve in hot dog buns. Can also be served over cooked rice.
