Tangy Coleslaw

Serves: 6
Total Calories: 110


1 (16-ounce) bag coleslaw mix
4 , medium green onions, , sliced
1/3 cup orange marmalade
1/4 cup rice vinegar or white wine vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
1 1/2 teaspoons grated ginger root or 1 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon salt


1. Mix coleslaw and onions in large bowl.

2. Shake remaining ingredients in tightly covered container pour over coleslaw mixture. Toss until coleslaw is evenly coated with dressing.

3. Cover and refrigerate at least 30 minutes to blend flavors.

Add a twist to this favorite by stirring in 1 cup canned mandarin orange segments, drained. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons toasted sliced almonds.
