1/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups half and half
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 eggs
18 slices ((1-inch-thick) French bread
1. Heat large skillet or griddle over medium heat (350°F.) until hot. In large bowl, combine all ingredients except French bread slices; beat well. Dip each bread slice in egg mixture; turn to coat both sides.
2. Lightly grease heated skillet. Place bread slices in skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. If desired, sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar.
