Angostura aromatic bitters are an extract from tropical herbs and spices. This recipe is an adaptation of one found on the label of the bottle. Using fresh juices elevates the cocktail to a new level of enticing flavor.
1 1/2 cups cubed fresh pineapples
1/4 cup cranberries
3 tablespoons light rum
2 dashes Angostura aromatic bitters
Alternate adding the pineapple and cranberries to the juicer, and process until juiced. Pour the rum into a hurricane glass, and add the juice and bitters. Lightly mix. Garnish by placing a wedge of pineapple and a maraschino cherry on the rim of the glass, if desired.
