6 slices bacon
1/2 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 pounds green beans cut in 2-inch pieces and cooked
Fry bacon until crisp; drain on paper towels. Remove all but 2 tablespoons bacon drippings from skillet. Add vinegar and sugar; bring to boil, stirring. Add beans; cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Drain and serve beans with bacon pieces sprinkled over top. Serve hot or cold.
