4 slices bacon
1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon onions finely chopped
4 cups cabbage shredded
1/2 cup parsley chopped

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove from skillet; crumb and set aside. To bacon drippings in skillet add vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and onion. Add crumbled bacon; heat thoroughly. In large bowl pour hot dressing over cabbage and parsley (1 tablespoon dried parsley may be substituted for fresh); toss until vegetables are thoroughly coated.
