2 pounds fresh asparagus trimmed and cleaned, or 2 10 1/2 -ounce packages frozen asparagus
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1/3 cup lemon juice fresh
1/4 teaspoon dill weed dried weed, crushed
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
8 ounces shrimp tiny Alaskan, frozen or canned
Fresh parsley sprigs

Cook asparagus until crisp-tender; drain well. Arrange asparagus in a shallow nonmetal dish. Mix oil, lemon juice, dill weed, dry mustard, salt and pepper in a bowl. Add shrimp. Mix and pour over asparagus; marinate for 30 to 60 minutes, spooning some of the liquid over asparagus from time to time. Arrange on a serving plate and garnish with parsley and lemon.
