Ribs, Cabbage and Kraut

Ingredients

4 pounds chops or pork spare ribs
1 (17-ounce) jar sauerkraut
1 head cabbage, sliced thin
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 tablespoon margarine
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon dill weed
3/4 cup water
4 slices bacon fried and diced, reserve drippings

Directions:

Brown spareribs or pork chops in skillet. Alternate layers of ribs, sauerkraut, cabbage and onion in crockpot. Add margarine, sugar, salt and pepper. Add dill weed to water and pour on top of crock pot mixture. Put cooked bacon and drippings over all. Cover and cook 8-10 hours on LOW.
