Oktoberfest Sausage Dinner

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds garlic sausage or kielbasa
1 medium onion, cut in wedges
20 ounces fresh or refrigerated sauerkraut, do not drain
2 medium apples, cut in wedges
6 medium potatoes, cut in half
1 cup apple juice
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Cut sausages into individual serving pieces. In a skillet, brown sausages. In crock pot, place onion, sauerkraut with juice, apples and potatoes. Top with sausage. Pour apple juice over sausage. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and cook 6 hours on LOW, until potatoes are tender.
