Cheese with Beer Soup

Ingredients

2 tablespoons margarine or butter
1 (14-ounce) package frozen mirepoix blend
1 (12-ounce) can beer
2 cups chicken broth
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
1 cup sour cream
1 cup cubed Monterey Jack cheese

Directions:

Melt margarine in 2-quart saucepan over medium heat; cook vegetables till tender. Stir in beer; heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Stir in chicken broth and seasoned salt. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer 30 minutes; remove from heat. Stir in sour cream and sprinkle with cheese.
