Use this low-fat, low-calorie creamy dressing over salad greens or as a dip for vegetable
1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
1 cup low-fat cottage cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 medium carrot, peeled and grated
2 teaspoons grated onions
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1/4 teaspoon oregano
1/4 teaspoon basil
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
In a food processor, combine the yogurt, cottage cheese, and lemon juice; process until smooth. Pour into a small mixing bowl. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours before serving.
