2 pounds cod filets
1/2 cup butter real, softened
6 green onions minced
2 tablespoons lemon juice fresh
2 teaspoons dill weed dried dill weed, crushed, or 2 tablespoons minced fresh dill weed
Salt and freshly ground pepper
Dill Sauce
Fresh tomatoes, sliced
Dill weed Fresh or parsley sprigs
Grease a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Place fillets in one layer in baking dish.
In a small bowl mix butter, green onions, lemon juice, dill and salt and pepper to taste. Spread over fillets. Broil 6 inches from heat source for 5 minutes. Set oven temperature at 400° F. Move baking dish to center of oven. Bake for 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Place fish on a heated platter. Spoon some sauce over; serve remaining sauce separately. Garnish fish with tomatoes and dill or parsley.
